braindump from Jesse Cravens on the Internet of Things

Internet of Things the name of the mesh of various devices talking over the mesh of the internet. Mr. Cravens wants to pimp out a camper van with JavaScript and add solar panels and a wind turbine for clean energy. Arduino Urio are cards that allow you to gather data via infrared motion sensors. The Arduino has a local IDE. To take a really simple sketch that blinks an LED on pin 13. He has the Ardunio device up by him, but I'm too far away to see. He pushes from a websocket to JSON. EJS is a model for tempting often used in Node.js. He is using it. BeagleBone by TI runs Linux so Mr. Cravens does not have to run Node.js to run Ardunio on his laptop.
