more on SSRS

SSRS2005 runs in IIS, but SSRS2008 runs on its own web service. Either way, an SSRS site is not structured in the typical manner in which one may traverse a file tree to get at files. The reports get stored in either the Report database or the ReportTemp database. One may export the reports back out to XML from the web interface. There are some interesting connectors built into SSRS2008. The default mode one picks when installing services is the native mode, but there is also a SharePoint integrated mode. I am unsure of what SharePoint integrated mode does. It has been suggested that perhaps it allows SSRS reports to appear within web parts in SharePoint.
