Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary

The Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary .dll libraries apparently have some cool stuff for defining different policies for different exceptions. For example if you do not want to record every thread abort exception to your logs, you may incorporate a policy to sidestep this variety of exception in logging. Also, the Unity Framework goes with Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary and is something akin to Spring.NET.

Addendum 3/17/2014: My comparison of Unity to Spring.NET may be bad. See: this
