Screen savers would save your screen back in the 90s. They would kick in after x number of ticks of inactivity on your behalf. HyperCard was like a forerunner to PowerPoint with a little more programmability. If you draw on a piece of paper with a yellow highlighter and then photocopy the piece of paper the yellow translates to a cool neutral grey. Fax is short for facsimile. "stood up" used to mean the other party didn't arrive for a meeting and now it means that an environment has been prepped with the applicable flaming hoops (Web.config, hosts files) having been jumped through :)
