allow for copy/paste at the command line in Windows Server 2008 R2

1. right-click on the Command Prompt icon in Windows Server 2008 R2 and pick "Properties"
2. check the checkbox for "QuickEdit mode" at the Options tab

...this will allow you to highlight text at the command line and right-click on it to copy it to the clipboard then right-click outside of the selection at the current command prompt window (or perhaps even a command prompt window in a different VM) to paste.
