To add a printer in Windows 7 (by IP address)

  1. pick "Devices and Printers" from the Start Menu
  2. right-click in the white space of the Window which appears and pick "Add a printer" from the menu which appears
  3. pick "Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer"
  4. pick "The printer that I want isn't listed"
  5. pick "Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname" and then click "Next"
  6. enter the IP address
  7. finish up
