You must disable popup blockers for this feature to function correctly.

I steal the following from here which explains how to best this blocking feature of Google Chrome.

• go to Settings
• click "Show advanced settings..."
• click "Content settings..." beneath "Privacy"
• scroll down in the modal that appears to "Pop-ups"
• check the "Allow all sites to show pop-ups" radio button
• click the "Done" button
