What if you were to just use a third party tool to convert the HTML to PDFs? If you Google "convert html to pdf" you'll see a bunch of options. I ran into http://www.clicktoconvert.com/pages/batch_convert_pdf/index.htm just now Googling and I wonder if it would work for you. If you can batch export to HTML then you can always use a third party tool to finish your voyage to PDF. (I cannot vouch for the particular tool I just mentioned as I've only just now found it.)
