When you cannot see the branch you committed for a pull request in Azure DevOps...

One thing to try is to go into Team Explorer in Visual Studio 2019, right-click on the branch, and pick: "Push"

 
 

Addendum 1/9/2020: From the "Home" of the Team Explorer click on "Branches" to get at this.
