There is considerable prose upfront in the book about all of the testing that went into the book's code, but there are things right and left in the book itself that are just goofy. I am learning a lot but I cannot really recommend the book given how sloppy it is. ISAPI stands for Internet Server Application Programming Interface and is an API of IIS (Internet Information Services).
