things learned from Emma today

• Media Queries: See http://www.w3.org/TR/css3-mediaqueries/ for notes on media queries. http://coding.smashingmagazine.com/2010/07/19/how-to-use-css3-media-queries-to-create-a-mobile-version-of-your-website/ looks kind of interesting too.
• The Semantic Grid System is wonky in IE8 somewhat. Our app scales in size horizontally to fit a screen or a resizing of a browser and Emma has been challenged to find a grid system that isn't either of a fixed horizontal width or flawed in IE8 (which we have to support).
